The cast starts out initially with three women, one of whom is physically disabled, but from there expands out to a much larger cast. There is some racial diversity then--including 2 Japanese women, 1 Chinese woman, and 1 black woman. Two men join the cast as well at some point--one gay, the other bi. There's a crossover for a few issues at one point where Renee Montoya, a latino lesbian superhero, joins the story line."

Coral City is infected by corruption and crime and its up to the citizens to fight back! The Movement sees a young group of super-heroes rise up and take back the streets of their corrupt city. But when one of their own is captured by the police, its Coral City's finest against the citizens they have negelected to protect.
